Amanda - Veterinary Assistant

I was born in Georgia, but have since lived in Deutschland, Kansas and most recently, Florida.

I have been in this field for over eight years, and I could not imagine doing anything else! I graduated from PennFoster College with an AAS in Animal Technology. I have volunteered at the Atlanta Zoo, as well as the Milford Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Kansas.

In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, roller derby, and playing washboard. I travel most everywhere with “The Cal Dog,” my 17-year-old terrier mix. I feel very fortunate to work the career that I do and have the knowledge to educate others in how to best care for their four-legged friends.
